USWAG’s PFAS Risk Management Workshop: Strategies for Electric and Gas Utilities, will build upon the robust presentations at USWAG’s first inaugural PFAS Workshop held in May 2025. The program will address a range of PFAS technical, operational, and compliance issues arising in the context of electric and gas utility operations. This will include considerations for site assessment and remediation, management of utility equipment and materials, renewable natural gas and biosolids management, real estate transactions and legacy properties, decommissioning and demolition projects, and other day-to-day operational concerns.

If you would like to submit an abstract to be considered for presentation at the Workshop, please see the Call for Abstracts. Abstracts are due by May 15.
A Preliminary Program for the Workshop will be posted in early June.

- TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15: Attendees will gather in the evening for a Welcome Reception
- WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16: Full day of workshop followed by a Grand Reception in the evening for an opportunity to meet and network with fellow attendees and presenters
- THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17: Workshop continues and concludes mid-afternoon
Please note, this is an in-person only event. There will be no option for remote participation by speakers or delegates at any of the sessions.

The PFAS Workshop will take place at the beautiful Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas in Indian Wells, California (just outside Palm Springs). USWAG has a room block with a discounted group rate of $279/night. We recommend you lock in your room early. USWAG cannot guarantee room availability beyond our contracted room blocks.Â

Refund Policy
Please note refunds will be given up to two weeks before the workshop minus a $75 processing fee. No refunds will be permitted after September 1, 2026. Substitutions will be permitted.
