Call for Speakers - Now Open
The Utility Solid Waste Activities Group (USWAG) is pleased to announce a call for speakers for its 12th Annual (2026) CCR workshop to be held June 23-25, 2026, at the Westin Indianapolis Downtown.
NEW FOR 2026: In response to attendee feedback, USWAG is seeking abstracts for both traditional 30-minute speakers slots, and 60 to 90-minute panel discussions, with or without individual presentations, with 3-4 panelists plus a moderator.
To submit an abstract for either a traditional presentation or a panel, please complete the form at this link. A separate form is required for each abstract you'd like to submit.

TUESDAY, JUNE 23: Second Annual Women in CCR Luncheon: All Are Welcome
Open to all Workshop participants, USWAG's Second Annual Women in CCR Luncheon is meant to foster professional development, networking and growth opportunities through a community that supports women’s leadership in in the field of CCR management. There is no cost to attend this luncheon, though space is limited and preregistration is required. This event is being co-chaired by USWG Board Members Susana Hildebrand and Carolyn Slaughter. Note: While registration for the Second Annual Women in CCR Luncheon is free, No Shows will be billed $150 to recognize that USWAG purchased a meal for you and you did not attend.
TUESDAY, JUNE 23: USWAG Members - Affiliates Dialogue
On the afternoon of Tuesday, April 29, we will host a USWAG Members - Affiliates Dialogue. Ash & Solid Waste Committee Chair JR Register, along with USWAG Counsel, will facilitate a dialogue between Members and Affiliates on a variety of technical and policy topics. This off-the-record discussion is meant to advance a common understanding on the evolution of CCR issues facing our industry. You must be a USWAG Member or USWAG Affiliate to attend the Dialogue, and preregistration is required.
Following the Dialogue, USWAG will host a Welcome Reception for all Workshop delegates on Tuesday evening.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24 - THURSDAY, JUNE 25: 11th Annual CCR Workshop
On Wednesday, June 24 and the morning of Thursday, June 25, we will run the 12th Annual CCR Workshop.
We will start off on Tuesday morning in Plenary Session. On Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning, we will switch to a dual-track format where two sessions will be held side-by-side allowing delegates to choose the track most relevant to their individual interest. These Workshop sessions are open to all delegates.
Wednesday evening USWAG will be hosting a Networking Reception for all delegates. The Networking Reception will be held at the NCAA Hall of Champions.
THURSDAY, JUNE 25: USWAG Members-Only Session
On Thursday afternoon we will host a USWAG Members-Only Session. This session is only open to USWAG members.

Please note, this is an in-person only event. There will be no option for remote participation by speakers or delegates at any of the sessions.

Workshop Location/Accommodations
Please note, due to a large national volleyball championship being held in downtown Indianapolis, hotel rooms will go fast and be at a premium. To accomodate CCR Workshop attendees, USWAG has secured rooms at 3 hotels to meet expected demand. We recommend you lock in your room early. USWAG cannot guarantee room availability beyond our contracted room blocks.

Refund Policy
Please note refunds will be given up to two weeks before the workshop minus a $75 processing fee. No refunds will be permitted after June 8, 2026. Substitutions will be permitted.
